Hair Resistance Explained
Low Hair Resistance
Hair tends to cling on contact. You’ll notice buildup and may need a brush or cloth to clear it. Best for light hair exposure or inner layers.
Medium Hair Resistance
Hair may land on the surface but doesn’t grip tightly. Most strands shake off or wipe away easily. A reliable, everyday level of resistance suitable for general barber use.
High Hair Resistance
Hair rarely sticks. Strands slide off smoothly even with repeated contact. A quick shake or wipe keeps the surface clean. Ideal for heavy hair exposure and professional barbering environments.
Cool iron inside-out if needed
Avoid direct heat on the ALTR-TEK™ APPL surface.
